Wordwall is a platform designed specifically for online teachers, providing a range of interactive activities and games that can be used to engage students in learning. While many similar platforms are available, Wordwall stands out for its ease of use and versatility.
There is a free version and a paid subscription. The paid subscription is divided into two plans - Standard for 3,6 USD/month and Pro for 5,5 USD/month. The only difference between Standard and Pro plan is the number of interactive elements you can use. With the Standard plan, there are 18 available, and with Pro plan it´s 33 elements. Teachers can access a wide range of templates and customization options, allowing them to create engaging activities that are tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, the platform offers a range of analytics tools that can be used to track student progress and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
What I like about Wordwall the most is that once you create an exercise, you can use it in different forms - quizzes, flashcards, matching, filling words etc. It´s a really time saver, and students love it because they can practice something quick and fun. In addition, you can use your Wordwall exercises to create something bigger, for instance, e-books or worksheets that you could sell to students or other teachers, and create another source of income.
