We are definitely in a bull market at the moment, and there’s no sense in fighting it. Maybe you are getting on board a little late. If so, it will take more money (which means more risk) to see higher returns. Or perhaps you were prepared already for this end-of-year bull run, and you are seeing the value of your portfolio hit 52-week highs.
Palantir Technical Analysis
One such stock I have long-term and short-term positions on is Palantir (PLTR 0.00%↑). Both positions have been lucrative for me, and it just so happens that I’m ready to take on a new short-term position.
Trend of Threes
The highlighted areas of the chart indicate a trend I like to call the “trend of threes.” The trend of threes suggests that when the macro-economy trends in one direction, and if a stock trends in the opposite direction three times, then the likelihood of the price action mirroring the market will follow suit. In other words, PLTR dropped three times over the preceding six-month period, and with the bullish market trend, the likelihood of PLTR heading north is at a level where I am comfortable with the risk.
I am dollar-cost averaging into a position now, and my target exit is $23 in 3-4 weeks.
