Three AI-Driven Lifehacks for WFH Daily Routine
There you have it – my three go-to lifehacks that I use for boosting my productivity as a copywriter – and I hope you found them useful, too.
Highlights
Boost Productivity – Use AI for scheduling and email automation.
Improve Writing – AI tools like Lex assist with editing and focus.
Save Time – Otter.ai transcribes and summarizes meetings efficiently.
Working from home isn't everyone's cup of tea, especially with the daily challenges we remote workers face — from the constant distractions of a busy home environment to the struggle of maintaining a structured workday.
But with Lex's advanced writing assistance and Otter's seamless transcription capabilities, I've found a way to work smarter, not harder. In this post, I’ll share how these AI tools help me stay organized and focused, even with the occasional construction noise next door and downstairs theater rehearsals.
#1 Implement AI-powered Productivity Tools
I’ve already shared my go-to productivity AI tools, including the benefits of AI calendars, task management, email automation for efficient communication, and Grammarly, my number-one assistant in day-to-day activities. Trust me, with the proper schedule and prioritization methods, you can do even more than you used to — I've tried it myself!
But now, let's focus on some other AI-savvy lifehacks that can really boost your productivity.
#2 Use AI Tools for Sanity Check
Working from home often means working with lots of text, no matter your industry. I recently discovered Lex, an AI tool like Google Docs but powered with AI. It's super easy to use – the tool can proofread your text and give suggestions (and pretty good ones, to my surprise).
One of my favorite Lex features is "Checks," where you can check your text's grammar, structure, repetition, and credibility, among other things. What truly stands out is the "cliches" option — the AI analyzes your text and tells you whether it's filled with over-used phrases or not. You can see what kind of “Checks” the tool could do just here:
Another great feature is title generation. For instance, here are five titles this platform suggested based on this very article:

This gives you a pretty good direction if you're stuck, and you can get creative with it. You can see which title I used at the end.
Lex also has a dedicated focus session where you can set goals and targets you must reach in a particular period. While it doesn't restrict you from using other websites or social media platforms, the timer makes it time-sensitive and gives you that little psychological push. This is what it looks like:
My absolute favorite part of Lex is the prompts, which have already been created for you. So, all you need to do is to run them. With these prompts, you can get feedback on your text. It's your call whether to implement the edits, but seeing what others think (remember, AI is trained on the text, and it has seen it all) about your final work is always good practice.
The most common prompts include:
These are extremely helpful in determining whether your text makes sense to others or needs a bit more work. I especially love the "overcome writer's block" function — sometimes, you just feel stuck with the content, especially when the topic starts feeling repetitive.
So, if you also work with texts and documentation, give Lex a try. Its free version allows you to test everything out and see if it fits your work style. You never know unless you try, right?
#3 Use AI Tools for Meetings & Transcription
There are tons of note-taking apps out there, but my favorite is Otter.ai. It takes notes from your Google Meet meetings, transcribes them, and even summarizes them for you. It can also transcribe interviews or any other recording from audio files. This could be a real game-changer for copywriters — now, you don’t have to spend hours on manual transcription!
For instance, here's a glimpse of a recent recording I did:
As you can see, the platform provides a detailed transcript (the parts of which I can't share for privacy reasons), a summary, and an outline, giving you a quick grasp of the conversation. Throughout the transcript, you can also highlight parts of the text – this is incredibly useful when conducting an interview and wanting to get back to a specific part without wasting hours of your time.
The platform recently introduced an AI chat feature, which can answer questions you might have during the recording or help you discover things you didn't even think to ask during the interview.
Wrapping Up
There you have it – my three go-to lifehacks that I use for boosting my productivity as a copywriter – and I hope you found them useful, too. Remember, the goal is to reclaim your time, boost your productivity, and maybe even find a moment to enjoy that midday sun streaming through your home office window. Can you remember the last time you did it?
