From Alza's October survey, where we asked more than a thousand customers when they buy gifts, it emerged that most customers buy gifts in November and the first half of December (66% of 1,164 respondents). 23% of customers leave Christmas gifts to the last minute and hurriedly search for them a week before Christmas.
How would you compare this year's Christmas gift shopping to last year? Are there any noticeable differences in consumer behavior or trends?
We're certainly seeing some shifts in consumer behavior this year compared to last year. With rising inflation and economic concerns, customers are becoming more price-conscious and actively seeking good deals. They're also carefully considering value for money, prioritizing quality gifts at reasonable prices.
That makes sense. And what role does shipping play in this year's Christmas shopping?
Shipping costs have become a significant factor in purchasing decisions this year.
