Q2 Shareholder Letter
That dopamine-less experience disincentives us from wanting to repeat a similar activity, and then fear drives us to stay always in a protected comfort zone.
Dear 24Hour Shareholders.
Our reach for quarter one exponentially increased, and we broke the milestone of generating over 10,000 organic views in thirty days. This is a credit to our team of editors and writers—
, , , and —as well as the support of our readers, aka Shareholders, of 24Hour Journal. We are driven by the challenge to provide education and insight into financial and entrepreneurial endeavors so that you break the mold and pave your own path to financial independence.Sustainable Human Behavior
One of our primary interests to kick off 2024 was the partners of the 2024 Paris Olympics. To date, we've reviewed and analyzed 17 of the 26 publicly-traded Olympic partners. We've uncovered partnership details and marketing strategies and even considered the downsides or (dare I say) hypocrisy of particular partnership elements. A central theme I see with every partnership is the commitment to sustainability. I am a fan of sustainability, especially as it relates to individual human behavior. How do you reuse the parts of an old wooden cabinet and turn it into something else? What other purpose can a pickle jar serve after eating the pickles? Puzzles like these are the kind of mental exercise that are great for training the mind. But, as with any endeavor, sometimes we've invested time and resources to end up with a dopamine-less experience.
That dopamine-less experience disincentives us from wanting to repeat a similar activity, and then fear drives us to stay always in a protected comfort zone. So, how can we manage the risk of not receiving the dopamine reward?
Managing Risk Through Biohacking
I am thrilled to offer 24Hour Shareholders content that would help support such a task. James Magnus-Johnston is a Professor of Business and Economics at a private university in Winnipeg, Canada. After experiencing a medication-induced brain injury, he was left to fend for himself on how to solve the problems of the brain. James ventured into neuroscience and biohacking to learn how to improve his body and mind. Applying his technical research skills to this new adventure, James fully understands the mental toll taking risks has on the mind and body, and he will be offering biohacking tips and protocols for nutritional supplements that may aid you in managing risk.
Live+Work in the Czech Republic
And speaking of risk, one of the most significant risks we may face in our lives is a change of scenery, be it from one home to another, from one city to another, or even from one country to another. Because of my 15-year experience traveling to and fro the Czech Republic, I've become a fan of what the country offers regarding individual freedom and economic opportunities. 24Hour Journal has partnered with Jan Kalina and Daria Somova, co-owners of the relocation agency Move to Prague, to provide more intimate and helpful knowledge of living and working in the Czech Republic. In this digital age, if you've considered living abroad, then consider the Czech Republic as your central hub to experience all that Western, Central, and Eastern Europe has to offer. Stay tuned for an A-Z guide on how to live and work in the Czech Republic in a legal and financially responsible manner.
The team at 24Hour Journal continues to be optimistic about the future in spite of political divisions. We are solely focused on our mission of freeing ourselves from the State and being more in control of our financial future. Consider becoming a paid subscriber and receive all access to our content.
Onward and upward!
