The Czech Republic's Hidden Gems
As someone who has been living in Prague for the past five years, I have come to appreciate the summer season and all it has to offer. From festivals to lectures on finance and art, there is always something new to explore. And let me tell you, the Czech Republic never fails to surprise me with all its hidden gems.
One of the things I love most about summer in Prague is the abundance of outdoor concerts and music festivals. From jazz to classical to rock, there's something for every music lover. And if music isn't your thing, plenty of art exhibitions and cultural festivals showcase the rich history and traditions of the Czech people.
Beyond the cultural events, I've also had the chance to attend some fascinating lectures on finance and economics, which have given me a deeper understanding of the Czech Republic's economy and its place in the global market. It's been an excellent opportunity to expand my knowledge and learn from some true experts in the field.
I've been having a blast exploring the Czech Republic! It's been fascinating to see how the country has evolved into a technology startup hub, with Brno dubbed the "Silicon Valley of the Czech Republic." The city's business-friendly environment, highly skilled workforce, and lower cost of living than Prague have attracted many entrepreneurs. Brno has transformed from a historical city to a modern tech hub.
Another interesting tidbit we discovered is how the Czech Republic puts its spin on the popular US shopping event, Black Friday. Instead of lasting just a weekend, it extends for an entire month, offering many products, promotions, and discounts. It's a unique cultural experience that sets the Czech Republic apart from other countries during the holiday season.
During our research, I was captivated by the Czech Republic's success in attracting foreign investment and fostering a supportive environment for tech startups. It's great to see many successful companies emerging, with funding and scaling opportunities available. Plus, the country's leadership in the technology sector is impressive, with cutting-edge research being conducted in areas such as artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Speaking of AI, it's one of the most fascinating topics in recent memory! Platforms like ChatGPT and Bing Chat have made it more accessible than ever. I'm also drawn to the vlogging format, which allows me to share my experiences and perspectives with my audience.
Throughout my life, I've been driven by the artistic part of my personality. This passion has guided me down a path that eventually led me to marketing, where I've worked for five years.
From Marketing to Copywriting and Journalism
Although my degree in Business Administration provided me with a solid foundation in economics and business operations, I soon realized that more than number-crunching and analysis was needed to satisfy my creative spirit. I yearned for a career that would allow me to explore my artistic side while still applying my business knowledge meaningfully. That's when I discovered marketing and knew it was the perfect fit.
During my first marketing internship, I discovered my true calling. Working with the digital department, I immersed myself in social media marketing. I crafted compelling stories daily to capture our audience's attention on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn platforms. This experience ignited my passion, and I have been actively seeking new opportunities to hone my skills and expand my knowledge in the field of marketing since then.
The passion for "telling stories" and the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic pushed me to explore the worlds of copywriting and journalism, fields I never thought I would be interested in. It was a surprising turn of events, as I used to dislike writing essays in school. However, the pandemic allowed me to hone my writing skills and gain valuable work experience. I was fortunate to join the team at Prague Morning, where I covered news and food events in and around the city.
The experience was fulfilling and enriched my knowledge of the country I am living in. Learning about the history and lifestyle of the Czech Republic was fascinating, and the stories I covered gave me a deeper appreciation for the city and its people. My time at PragueLife Mag was equally enriching as I delved deeper into the Czech Republic's history and culture. Through this experience, I discovered hidden gems and unbeaten paths to explore in my free time. My journey into the world of copywriting and journalism has been unexpected. Still, it has allowed me to discover new interests and gain valuable experience.
Combining hard and soft skills proved extremely valuable when I started working for a Canadian startup. I had a lot of freedom to explore and experiment with my interests, which led me to discover new skills and passions. Initially, I started as an investment assistant, where I learned how to analyze financial data, assess risks, and make informed investment decisions. However, I soon realized that my artistic side was yearning to be expressed, and I started exploring marketing and PR.
Marketing turned out to be the perfect fit for me. I created advertisements and press releases, conducted market research, and talked to various journalists and experts to gain insights into the industry. All these experiences helped me develop a deep understanding of marketing and find a job that provided financial stability and gave me passion and joy.
During this time, I also worked as a TikTok manager and later as a TikTok content creator, which is a job that genuinely fits into the GenZ world. Being a content creator allowed me to hone my social media skills and stay current with the latest trends. By exploring every direction in marketing, I broadened my horizons and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, which I now apply in my current role.
In a nutshell, I tried every direction in marketing to see and understand what kind of job would bring me financial stability, passion, and joy. This journey has taught me the importance of being open-minded and adaptable and constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow.

I found myself in the field of copywriting, having taken on various projects that now make up my portfolio. In today's fast-paced world, where change is the only constant, it has become increasingly critical to recognize the value of investing. Fortunately, we live in an era of readily available information, empowering us with the tools to navigate the complex financial landscape confidently.
